Sample Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive and check-in to your overnight hotel. Relax and enjoy dinner on your own this evening.
Day 2 A continental breakfast is served at the hotel. Then, checkout and depart for Atlanta, GA. Dinner is on your own this evening.
Day 3 Start the day with a continental breakfast at the hotel. Then depart on a city tour of Atlanta, featuring many historic and modern landmarks of downtown Atlanta including Peachtree Street, Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia Dome. Following your tour, enjoy lunch on your own at CNN Center. This afternoon, enjoy a CNN Studio Tour, journey into the heart of CNN Worldwide for a glimpse of news broadcasting in action. Dinner this evening is included at a local restaurant.
Day 4 Good morning! A continental breakfast is served at your hotel. After breakfast, check out and depart for the city of Savannah, Georgia’s First city! Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of Savannah, including River Street, Forsyth Colonial Park Cemetery, Orleans Square, Washington Square, and the City Market. After your tour, enjoy the many sights, shops, and historic attractions on your own which have made Savannah one of the top 10 cities to visit! Enjoy dinner on your own this evening along the Riverfront. Later, depart for your hotel for the evening.
Day 5 Enjoy a continental breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and depart for the city of Charleston. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour of Charleston highlighting the Historic District, Old City Market, Waterfront Park and White Point Gardens. See the beautiful homes, churches and public buildings that line the city streets. Have your camera ready to snap shots of the magnificent formal gardens that grace the city and add to the beauty of its colonial, antebellum and Victorian architecture. Later, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay.
Day 6 Good Morning! Enjoy a continental breakfast at the hotel and then depart for a short cruise to Fort Sumter National Monument, where Major Robert Anderson fired the first shot of the Civil War. History comes alive with information provided by the US Park Service. Following your cruise, enjoy the afternoon exploring Charleston. Dinner is served this evening at a local restaurant.
Day 7 Good Morning! After a continental breakfast, check out and depart for your overnight hotel. Check-in and enjoy dinner on your own this evening.
Day 8 A continental breakfast is served at the hotel. Then checkout and depart on a safe journey home with fond memories of a wonderful trip!
